2011 Con Circuit
Here’s a heads-up on some great events happening this year.
The second year of PAX East is March 11th to 13th at the Boston Convention Center, and pre-registration is open! Last year’s PAX was a huge success; if you didn’t get to check it out, don’t let this year’s event pass you by!
Online pre-reg for Anime Boston is also happening now, with the event being held on April 22nd to April 24th at the Hynes Convention Center.
Boston Comic Con is April 30th to May 1st at the Hynes Convention Center, and there is a SLEW of great talent coming, including Neal Adams, Joe Kubert, Stan Sakai, Adam Hughes, Frank Quitely, and many more! Tickets are $20 for one day or $35 for both.
And last but not least, the ever-popular Otakon runs July 29th to July 31st at the Baltimore Convention Center. For those of you who, like me, are new to this con, they even have a guide just for you. It’s a little campy, but I suspect that’s all part and parcel of this thing.
You’ll note that I left out the big stuff like Big Apple Con, SDCC, etc., but all of that mostly goes without saying. It’s always a good idea to support the local stuff, so there you have just a very short list from a large number of things going on in 2011. Please tell us what you’re interested in or if we’ve missed anything spectacular that we should know about!
Hope to see you all out and about!
