ColossalCon East 2018 Cosplay Gallery Part 2
This photo gallery from ColossalCon East 2018 features photos I took during the morning through the mid-afternoon hours on Saturday at the convention. Every photo in this set was taken inside the Kalahari’s indoor waterpark, which they proudly advertise as “America’s largest indoor waterpark,” with an impressive 220,000 square feet of space.
It’s a good thing that the indoor waterpark is so vast, since the outdoor waterpark was closed during the convention, due to less than ideal weather. The convention started on Friday with temperatures that were fairly seasonable, but dropped throughout the weekend, which did not make it out of the 50s on the final day of the convention. The cool temperatures, along with the light rain that lingered in the area throughout the weekend, made the indoor waterpark the place to be during the convention.
About half of the photos in this set were taken at a group meetup and photoshoot in the waterpark held by Zadra, which she dubbed the “Blizzard Pool Party.” This event was a huge success, with more than 30 cosplayers joining in the fun.
This is my next to last hall shot style photo gallery from Colossalcon East 2018. Stay tuned to Nerd Caliber for my more group photoshoot sets, and final words, from this largely enjoyable event, which ended with some controversy.
