Anime Boston 2019 Sunday Gallery Part 1 by FirstPerson Shooter

As is usually the case, Sunday at Anime Boston 2019 was also Easter. While this does reduce the attendance numbers a bit, it also brings with it a few benefits — lots of cosplayers in bunny versions of their characters, and many giving out Easter candy. Not that I needed any, but getting gifted chocolates eggs and the like on a regular basis helped me stay away from our own candy bowl on our table promoting our 2020 event, the Cosplay And Photography Expo.

Speaking of bunnies, some characters didn’t need an alternate bunny design, because the character is in a bunny suit in the show or movie. That includes like_rabbits_cosplay in the featured photo above, cosplaying as Mai Sakurajima from the unfortunately named anime Rascal Does Not Dream of Bunny Girl Senpai. Despite the name, it is one of the best anime shows I’ve seen in recent years, so if you haven’t seen it, add it to your list.

Because of the smaller attendance numbers compared to Friday or Saturday, and the earlier closing time, we have fewer galleries than either of those two days. But I still took enough photos of cosplayers to make up three galleries.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
