Black Lives Matter: Storm Cosplay Retrospective Gallery
In our ongoing effort to keep the awareness of the problem of police violence against black Americans and other people from communities of color, we have our second cosplay gallery of black cosplayers portraying well-known black characters. In this case it is Ororo Munro, AKA Storm, the sometimes goddess, sometimes leader of the X-Men and one of the most bad-ass and deep characters in Marvel comics.
As I mentioned in the first gallery, featuring Black Panther, Storm was married to T’Challa at one time. While I have taken a bunch of photos of Storm and Black Panther together as a couple, I put those photos in the Black Panther gallery.
One of the best things about about Storm as a cosplay is that she has been around long enough to have a wide variety of looks for cosplayers to choose from, and many of those are in here — classic Storm, punk Storm, Queen Storm, etc.
Among the cosplayers in this gallery are mistress_ishbo, vixenjay_, miss318ti, Nerdy Curve, iam.ororo, statuesque_yoki, amazon_cosplayer, and many more.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
