Sailor Moon Characters Cosplay Retrospective Gallery
Late Monday Netflix announced that it would premier the recent anime movie Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie on June 3. The movie opened in theaters in Japan back in January of this year.
According to reports, the movie is a replacement for a fourth season of the series Sailor Moon Crystal, and adapts the Dead Moon arc from the original manga.
While many of the cosplays photographed for this gallery are of traditional Sailor Senshin characters, there are also a number of redesigns, like the punk Sailors or the wounded combat Sailors. But my favorite might just be ThatTomCatt‘s mashup of a Sailor Senshin and Bea Arthur from Golden Girls.
