Fan Expo Boston 2021 Sunday Gallery Part 1

The Cosplay Craftsmanship Cup was held Saturday evening at Fan Expo Boston 2021 but Sunday morning in room 051 was still fairly busy since it was time to sign up contestants for the Youth Cosplay Contest. It was also a time when — like Saturday evening — many of my cosplaying friends came by the studio space to get photos, likely because crowds were smaller and came in later on Sunday morning than on Saturday.

Because I had secured away my two studio lights the night before, I didn’t set them up exactly in the same spot as I had placed them on Saturday at first, and the first third of this gallery shows the harsher, more eye-level lighting. I fixed it eventually, but my apologies to those cosplayers who didn’t get my best lighting.

Being a Sunday, it is normal for there to be fewer photos than Saturday, but with our location this year that number was even lower than normal, so there are just two galleries. We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
