Welcome back, PAX! It’s been a long two-year hiatus. I was supposed to be at PAX East in March 2020, but a bad case of KatsuCrud sidelined me. It was a blast to be back in the energy, the bleeps and bloops and pew-pews of a video game convention. I got some new dice (including an amazing solid stainless D20 that doubles as an ice cube for my favorite adult beverages), a stunning new Volante vest, and some goodies for my lovely wife. It was a wonderful treat to see so many con friends I haven’t connected with in 2+ years. Hugs were hugged, feelings were felt.
With the smaller crowd, it was ideal to set up alongside Rodney at Nerd Caliber base camp. I took advantage of the sleek stainless walls, going with a funky pink/purple gel lighting setup for a bit of a neon Tokyo vibe. Hope you enjoy the shots!
