Granite State Comicon 2022 Gallery By faultylayline
In addition to Wonderllama Photography, we also had team member Jeremy of @faultylayline at Granite State Comicon 2022 last month. While Gregg manned the cosplay studio, Jeremy wandered the show floor getting hall shots in what the folks at GSCC fondly call “the fishbowl.” In case anyone wonders, it gets that name because a bit more than two of the walls are floor-to-ceiling windows, including one wall that faces the hallways leading from the parking garage to the attached hotel — basically anyone passing buy stares into the show floor like people watching fish in a fishbowl.
The photos in this gallery were taken on Friday, so the dealer’s room looks a bit less full than you would see on a weekend day. Still, there is a good assortment of fandoms represented, as has increasingly been the case since conventions have started to return from covid-19 shutdowns. It seems as though every convention, whether it has “comic” or “anime” in the title is moving toward a general nerd culture event. At least as far as cosplay goes.
