Megacon 2023 Cosplay Gallery Saturday Part 1 By Cantera Image

One of the things that hasn’t changed much since I was last at Megacon in 2014 is the struggle for parking — if anything it has become worse over the years. But Megacon has done a great job recently of using its social media accounts to give attendees driving to the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando alerts about the status of available parking. I mention this because this gallery is the first from Saturday, always the busiest day at any convention.

Manny of Cantera Image was all over the convention center taking photos on Saturday — in the vendor area, in the open ticket queue line space and out in the brightly lit lobby. This gallery also does a great job showing of the variety of fandoms and cosplay. We have the massive and intricate Warhammer 40,000 armored cosplay in the linked image below, the show-accurate costumes from My Hero Academia in the featured image above, and even the hilarious mashups of Hello Kitty and Darth Vader and a stormtrooper.
