Megacon 2023 Masters of Cosplay Contestants By Wonderllama Photo
At Megacon 2023, Gregg of Wonderllama Photography was once again assigned to take photos of the contestants in the Masters of Cosplay Grand Prix: The Sunshine Qualifier (as Fan Expo calls the Orlando stop in its six-convention cosplay contest series). Either before or after their time to present to the judges for pre-judging, they come to the studio setup that Gregg has adjacent to the judging area.
All cosplay contests at conventions bring out some of the most creative cosplayers, but Megacon has developed a reputation for cosplays that are both massive and intricate — such as the Ainz Ooal Gown or the armored Ursula. Then there is the wild creativity of the mashup of Hello Kitty and Pyramid head.
Cosplayers in this gallery include concrawlercosplay, onebizarreme_cosplay (Novice Winner, Aloy), queen_c00k1e, jazslavonne, bastetcosplay (Best In Show Winner, Hatsune Miku), tamatamachu, tabs_labs, kati_kaboodle, autumnalequinox_cosplay, kolackitty, eve_talisman_cosplay, jewelthi3f, masquexo, kylmichellek, nemuimanda, bex_cosplay, oblivion.cow, tizzie.lizzie, marrow_meister, skull_weaponwerks, kirarhian, Closet Chloe, carrotbluecheese, Lady Raivin Cosplay, masterjoelnathan, kangabox and causticmuse (Journeyman Winners, Attuma and Namora), Gigabyte Cosplay, pitskitsuy, pj.pancake, veronasroses, Five Foot Fire Starter Cosplay, avera_cosplay, havh3roes, and many more.
Not in this gallery is the Masters Winner, Allison Chase Cosplay, because her Cart Titan cosplay from Attack on Titan was too big for the studio space. Luckily, Manny of Cantera Image grabbed some photos of the cosplay in this gallery.
We use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This allows us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
