Fan Expo Boston Friday Cosplay Gallery Part 3
I mentioned in the first gallery article that this was the busiest Friday we’ve ever had at Fan Expo Boston. My final photo was taken maybe 15 minutes before I started breaking down my lights at 8:45 p.m. Typically there are fewer people in cosplay on a Friday at Fan Expo Boston than other days, because it opens late — 2 p.m. for VIPs and 4 p.m. for regular attendees. But this year I was busy from 2 p.m. straight through to close.
My plan was to also set up a Question of the Day tabletop video system, and when I tested it before 2 p.m. it worked fine. Then the large booth space right across from us by Waltham-based Game Underground fired up all of the video games, including the closest machine to us, a Dance Dance Revolution platform. After a few minutes it became clear that I would not be able to get clear audio, and I broke the system down, feeling a bit peeved. That went away when I realized that the DDR machine drew so many people that I was able to approach cosplayers waiting in line for their turns and ask them to come over to the studio space when they were done to get photographed. Big thanks to Game Underground for the unintentional assisst.
Cosplayers in this final Friday gallery include jacobbutler333, mz_ampersand, lostgirlcosplay14, mikeyguitar327, inked.itoshii.cos, adrian_d._spider, grubbypirateboy, ctcowboy71, lorendacosplayer, guardianfrosty, duskimp, r.il.ey, fourthfang, andycordeiro101, ls.star.cos, son_of_simp, lil.lexi.panda, ragdollmurderer, kyodai_kayoden, wizardcosplayco, nerdcredcosplay, thejustincosplay, spectra_v3, sunbunnycosplay, generalbenkenobi, kenneth_pereira, and many more.
