Fan Expo Boston 2018 Cosplay Gallery, Friday

Those of us who have been around the New England convention scene for a few years still call it Boston Comic Con, but the correct name now is Fan Expo Boston. Whatever you call it, the show had worked out many of the kinks of its first year at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center in this second year at the BCEC.

While the floor layout had only changed slightly from 2017, it seemed better thought out and easier to navigate, for the most part. Unfortunately for us, that slight change in layout included a smaller space for the Masters of Cosplay contest registration and judging area, which meant a much smaller space for me to take photos of those contestants and others in cosplay. To make things easier for the people doing their jobs clocking in contestants, I went with a single light source and an LED wand at that. I think it worked, although I would have loved a second one for a highlight.
