AAC Summer Matsuri 2010 Review (and Pictorial)

Another Anime Convention’s Summer Matsuri took place on September 5, 2010 at the Highlander Conference Center near Manchester, New Hampshire. The day was ideal for pictures and picnics as it was warm and sunny. I had a great time
socializing with attendees and staff members such as “Buddha,” who has many funny stories to tell about his time running events for AAC. Hosts Sarah and Ken did a great job by bringing their brand of humor to events such as Cosplay Dating
and Masquerade-Lite.

The mini-convention overall was a good experience. For anyone that was curious about AAC in October, this was your chance to get to know the staff personnel, ask questions and see teasers of what you will be seeing. The panels and events that was available at the Summer Matsuri gave you a preview of what to expect in October. They had panels such as how to do cosplay skits and cosplay costume creations so that you can prepare when AAC arrives. There were sections available if you wanted to play video games like Rock Band and DDR or check out the vendors and artists upstairs. It was a great event to make new friends with cosplayers and anime fans. Organizers did a great job to generate excitement for Another Anime Convention this coming October.
