Agatha Harkness Cosplay for Halloween 2024

When I put out the call for Halloween-themed photo shoots a couple weeks ago, inevitablebetrayal was one of the first to jump in. But since I was out in Metro West Massachusetts at the time and not at my coastal home, the timing of getting her out to where I was before we lost daylight didn’t work. Since she lives one town away from my home, we just rescheduled to the next week.

For a location, I was quite lucky that we did reschedule. Less than 100 yards from my place is one of the Bay State’s oldest rail trail conversions, and at the closest point to me it goes by a swampy pond in the woods, which has its own walking trail with a boardwalk. Perfect for the Witches’ Road. And yes, before anyone else says it, inevitablebetrayal pointed out to me that her costume was from the end of the series WandaVision, and not any of the styles in the new series Agatha All Along. I’m fine with that — it’s a great cosplay and a great location, so I won’t let the accuracy complaints bother me. After all, one of the benefits of this combination is that no photo gives away any spoiler for the current show.

By the way, while this is a Featured Photo set article and not a review, let me encourage you to watch Agatha All Along if you are not. The recently aired Ep. 7 is one of the best bits of television (or any visual entertainment) I’ve seen in many years. And overall the series is top-tier Marvel content.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
