Anime Boston 2024 Saturday Gallery Part 3 By FirstPerson Shooter

There’s not much of interest to tell about midafternoon on Saturday at Anime Boston 2024. Gregg of Wonderllama Photography and I continued trading off who would take pics of cosplayers as the afternoon stayed pretty busy. I was lucky enough that Gregg was busy when Brandon the Shapeshifter came by, so I got to take pics of his amazing Dream cosplay from Sandman. On the other hand, I must have been in the men’s room when jiro_sensei and ookyspookycosplay came by, because I missed them completely.

From a Nerd Caliber business standpoint, this part of Saturday was pretty productive. I had two different conversations about upcoming events and activities that will bear fruit in just a few months. Apologies for being vague, but I’m loathe to talk about any convention plans before they actually happen — such is the fungible reality of the convention and cosplay scene.

I want to give kudos to the Anime Boston volunteer staff. Throughout the convention I had volunteers checking in on me to make sure everything was going well, and even enlisted one to get me water from a bubbler in a nearby panel room a couple of times throughout the weekend. That’s the kind of attention you would expect to see given to guests. It’s nice to see AB also extends that to those of us in Community Row.

Cosplayers in this third of four Saturday galleries include sophiacormier, crystal.seer, fenixthegoat, neetsuite, pacmannion, macklecosplays, dumpstermakeup, themaskedoptician, cosp_lai, elegantvalkyrie, the_nyata, etherealamberr, roselynd95, dratinie, gremlinkingcosplay, strawberrykiwi.cosplay, the.real.arok, kalosians, uju_cosplay, bignewts, and more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
