Anime Weekend Atlanta 2016 Cosplay Gallery 1
The end of Summer and start of Fall is crunch time for most Atlanta cosplayers, with two large cons falling within a month of each other. Late last month was Anime Weekend Atlanta, which returned to the Galleria Convention Center.
This was a big year for the con, with a reported 28,781 unique attendees over the weekend. Next year might possibly bring a different crowd with the new baseball stadium being built a block away but connected with a skybridge. This year the con went solid without any major hiccups and the weather was a perfect mid 80s in the day and mid 60s at night. If you are looking for another anime con to pick up in the South East, be sure to make it out one year to AWA.
Photo gallery tips: Once the page loads the images, you will see the Forward and Back navigation arrows above the image, in case you want to scroll faster than the preset. And to see the entire gallery as thumbnails, click on the gray four-box square next to the navigation arrows.
