Arisia 2016 Cosplay Gallery, Saturday Part 1

This past weekend the second convention of the year (YourminiCon in Connecticut took first) in New England was held at the Westin Waterfront hotel. Arisia is a con that specializes in science fiction, fantasy and steampunk literature, TV and movies, with a smattering of gaming and anime thrown in.

While the convention has landed many well-known authors as Writer and Artist Guests of Honor in it’s 26-year history, this year it had one of the hottest writers in the field in the GoH spot, John Scalzi, author of Old Man’s War, Lock In and Redshirts among others.
