Best For Last? Post-SDCC 2014 Videos From “The Hobbit” & “Sin City”
While there were some outstanding video teasers and trailers shown during the recent Comic Con International: San Diego, it seems like the most exciting ones have been held until the day after the con closed.
First up is the shorter of the two, the new trailer for The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. In it we only get to see a quick glimpse of Smaug, but his effect on Laketown seems pretty long lasting. I am going to guess that the final battle with Smaug gets moved to coincide with the Battle of the Five Armies, but I hope I am wrong. Even if that is the case, the trailer makes me want to see the movie right now, as all good trailers should.

The second big release today comes from Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller — the Red Band trailer for the new movie Sin City: A Dame To Kill For. Red Band means it is NSFW and not for those under 18, so you have to sign in with a YouTube account to see it. The trailer is a solid 3:24 minutes long, and isn’t really that racy or bloody, but it is ultra-violent, as you would imagine. If you can, check it out.
