ColossalCon East 2018 Fighting Game Swimsuit Gallery

As a bit of a change of pace from my usual photography routine, I decided to get myself heavily involved in several group meetup and photoshoots during ColossalCon East 2018. Prior to the convention, I created an event page for a meetup I would host, and signed up to be lead or co-lead photographer for two other groups.

I’ll kick off my ColossalCon East 2018 photo galleries with photos from the meetup I created and hosted, which I dubbed “The fighting game swimsuit shoot.” Although this was a small group, with less than a dozen cosplayers, I think it was a great group, and I’m grateful to everyone that showed up.

Capcom cosplay dominated the meetup with characters from Street Fighter, Marvel vs. Capcom, and Darkstalkers all being represented. A Young Link cosplayer also “joined the battle” to proudly represent the popular Super Smash Bros. video game series.

Thank you to all of the cosplayers that showed up for my first ever event. I plan on making this a yearly tradition, and hope that it will grow as time goes on. If you’re a fan of cosplay and fighting games, I hope that you can make it out to ColossalCon East 2019 and attend!
