ConnectiCon 2015 Cosplay Gallery, Friday Part 1!
The largest nerd convention in the Nutmeg State is ConnectiCon, held each year at the Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford. In the past few years the convention has been transitioning from being mainly an anime-focused event to a more general pop culture one like Super MegaFest in Massachusetts or Rhode Island Comic Con in Providence.
This year that meant the addition of both George Takei and Nichelle Nichols from the original Star Trek series to the usual roster of anime voice actors. That kind of a draw helped offset the potential loss of attendee numbers that the con might have faced from a significant jump in ticket prices. And that meant just as many cosplayers to take photos of as usual, a significant number. Among those cosplayers in this set are Myratheon Cosplay, Jewbacca Cosplay, Two and a Half Nerds, Serenity’s Revenge Cosplay, Pixie Belle Cosplay, and Katastrophe Cosplay, and many others.
