Dragon Con 2017 Sunday Cosplay Photos By Wonderllama Photography

Getting up early for a flight on Monday? Every costume you brought still tossed haphazardly across your hotel room? Sure, you could get a jump on packing and turn in early, but it’s Sunday night at Dragon Con, so … nahhh!

While not quite as packed as Saturday night, Sunday is a take-no-prisoners night of cosplay. People bust out things they haven’t worn yet and enjoy the opportunity to connect with friends, take photos, and start making plans for next year’s insane solo and group cosplays.

Two of my personal favorites: the amazing, enormous, extremely colorful Stormfly, from How to Train Your Dragon, and the Brendon Murphy’s spot-on Hagrid. We met him on the flight to Atlanta, and surprise surprise, he’s good friends with New England cosplayers we know. New chums! as Heinlein would say.

A quick shout-out to Heroic Spirit Cosplay and Mhysa Cosplay. They spent an hour+ as my “voice-activated light stands”, helping with lighting, posing cosplayers, and being generally awesome people. Thanks for the help and camaraderie, guys!
