Fan Expo Boston 2024 Sunday Gallery Part 1
The last day of Fan Expo Boston 2024 started off smoothly and stayed that way all day. The mapping system for Lyft brought me into Boston the easiest and fastest way, as opposed to Saturday morning. Getting into the Hall C space and setting up from the evening before was a piece of cake. And as is typical of any Sunday at a convention, it was pretty slow until just before noon. Based on the photos in this first of three Sunday galleries, I only took pictures of four cosplayers before I had to head downstairs for the special Father’s Day Red Carpet event, hosted by cosplaydadcosplay. That gallery will be posted on Monday, along with the regular Sunday Red Carpet event in a single gallery.
Once I got back to the studio space, most of the cosplayers in the rest of gallery were friends who came by to get photos of their Sunday cosplay, including Dick — the Superman mashup at the end — who I haven’t seen since well before the pandemic. There were some cosplayers walking by who I called out to, including Raven and Beast Boy, and Shego, but the foot traffic was really slow compared to Saturday or even Friday.
Cosplayers in this gallery include brett.patenaude, tothemaxcosplay, jacky.ha.313, irisskies.cosplay, kyledainescosplay, dark_eyes_cosplay, ctcowboy71, sorceress_triss, the__devil__you__know, mskristinamarie_, craftycontraptions, mikeyguitar327, sherlockgrim, midgardiancosplay, and many more.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
