Fan Expo Boston Sunday Cosplay Gallery Part 2

This gallery from mid-day Sunday at Fan Expo Boston 2023 has a bunch of the kind of surprising cosplay that really gets me excited. It shouldn’t have surprised me as much as it did, but I got a real kick out of the Ken cosplay by miserbilality. Then there were the masked swordsmiths from the latest arc of the anime Demon Slayer, seen in the linked image below, cosplayed by miryanna_cosplays. They stayed in character, never speaking a word. Completely unrecognizable was lostsanitycosplays as König from the Call of Duty videogame franchise.

But the cosplay that blew my mind for its obscurity is the gal in the plaid skirt and gray crop sweater. She asked me if I knew who she was cosplaying, and I admitted it looked familiar, but I couldn’t place it. She gave me a hint: “What day is it? It’s Rex Manning day!” Yes, she was cosplaying as Corey from the movie Empire Records.
