Fave 2016 Odd and Obscure Cosplay Shots by FPS
One of the best parts of any con for me is when I see a costume so cool, so weird or so obscure I have to take a picture of it, and let the cosplayer know just how awesome and creative I think they are. That leads us to my fave 2016 odd or obscure cosplay shots.
For examples, this year I got to shoot not just one, but two people cosplaying as members of the Village from the late 1960s British TV show The Prisoner. And I loved Contradan Cosplay and his team member Nishinoya as Jorgen Von Strangle and Juandissimo Magnifico.
But I actually ran all of my 300+ pound bulk across the Jacob Javits Convention Center floor to make sure I didn’t miss a shot of the excellent Hodor … with a door he was holding.
As I mentioned in my favorite genderbent and crossplay shots of 2016 post, I apologize for any that didn’t make this list — that was a lot of pictures to go through.
Other cosplayers include R.W. Martin, Toy Town Studios and J. Warford, Panda of Wicked Geeky, Jonny Ruckus Cosplay, Syagria Cosplay, Colen P Cosplay, Random Raul, and more.
