Five Nights At Freddy’s Retrospective Cosplay

I admit the reason for creating a retrospective gallery of the many cosplays I’ve photographed from the game Five Nights At Freddy’s is tenuous at best. It’s not like there is some recent news about the game, as is usually the case with these types of looks back.

But it is abundantly clear that the trailer just released for the new Nicolas Cage movie, Willy’s Wonderland, is absolutely inspired by FNAF. I would dare say the writers have changed just the bare minimum of things needed to avoid a lawsuit from FNAF creator Scott Cawthon and actual movie licensees Warner Bros. Pictures. Modern horror maestros Blumhouse Productions has been working on that version of an adaptation since early 2017, but rumors now say Blumhouse will begin shooting this Spring.

Five Nights At Freddy’s has one of the most dedicated fan bases of any fandom we’ve covered at Nerd Caliber. Our YouTube videos of kia_cosplay as Bonnie the Bunny interviewing  cosplayers in a wonderfully creepy manner at cons are among our most popular. And almost every live show we do — the Tuesday evening Nerd Week Live news show and the Thursday evening Full Fat SPOILER Chat deep dive show — sees one person in the chat ask when Bonnie is coming back (we’re working on it).

Because of the difficulty of identifying any of the cosplayers under those costumes, aside from kia_cosplay, the only other cosplay I can tag here is chickalittle as Circus Baby (the link image below).

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
