Game of Thrones Famous Wine Drinkers Retrospective Gallery

It is National Drink Wine Day, and I could think of no better cosplays to honor this important holiday than the drinkiest family on nerd TV, the Lannisters from Game of Thrones. After all, Tyrion actually has that in his unofficial motto, “I drink and I know things.” And while I haven’t done a scene-by-scene breakdown, I’m pretty sure that Cersei is drinking wine in more than 50 percent of her appearances.

One other addition to this gallery is Olenna Tyrell, also known for having a cup of wine in most appearances. And she is technically an in-law member of the Lannister family — OK, technically the Baratheon family as young Tommen carries the Baratheon name even though his DNA is completely Lannister. Speaking of Baratheons, I had to include the few photos I’ve taken of young Robert Baratheon cosplayed by bloodmon, since Robert was famous for the amount of wine he consumed. And since we are including people connected to one Baratheon bastard, why not include the worst bastard of them all, Joffrey — also genetically a Lannister.

Oh, and just because I had to include him in one of these galleries is the amazing cosplay of Hodor — with the door.
