Harley and Ivy Cosplay Over the Years On News Of Season 2 of DCU Series
The DC Universe animated series Harley Quinn ended its first season without exploring the comic book canon lesbian relationship between the title character and Poison Ivy, even though Ivy was an important and regular character in the show. But, according to the showrunner Patrick Schumacker, that relationship will be explored in Season 2 in “a meaningful way,” he told the newspaper Metro.
With that news, it seemed like the right time to pull together a retrospective gallery of photos of Harley and Ivy cosplay duos I’ve taken over the years. There will be some photos with a third character, most often Catwoman, as that seems to be a go-to for a trio of female friends looking to cosplay. Of course, gals aren’t the only people cosplaying the pair. Taken at DragonCon 2014 is a photo of Tony Ray and a friend as outstanding genderbent versions of Harley and Ivy.
