“We had a Kyoko, but we lost her before the shoot started [laughs], which was funny, because at one point during the shoot Lauren Landa, the voice actress for Kyoko walked by and took some pictures of the group. She was chill, she liked that our Kyubey wasn’t creepy like he is on the show, and then was all “Where’s Kyoko?” Only one girl actually knew who she was, so we’re like ‘Okay, random person who likes Madoka…cool.’ Then after she left we asked who it was, and she’s like ‘Oh, that was the woman who plays Kyoko.'”
