Mandalorian And Boba Fett Cosplay Gallery Over The Years
In the past two weeks there has been a handful of impressive casting announcements for the upcoming second season of the Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Last week we read that Temuera Morrison, who played Jango Fett in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, would be playing his own clone son, Boba Fett, in the new season.
That was followed within days by news that Katie Sackhoff was cast to play Bo-Katan Kryze in season 2. Bo-Katan is a Mandalorian warrior that was important in the two animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars and later Star Wars Rebels — shows in which Sackhoff already voiced the character. Then just the past week we heard that Timothy Olyphant was cast to play an unnamed character in Season 2 of The Mandalorian. While there is no official word about who Olyphant plays, the odds-on money is on Cobb Vanth, a sheriff in Freetown on Tattoine who obtained what is most likely Boba Fett’s armor recovered from a dead sarlacc. At least, in a series of Star Wars novels written by Chuck Wendig.
In light of all that news, I pulled together a retrospective gallery of cosplayers in Mandalorian or Boba Fett costumes. While it is particularly difficult to identify many of the cosplayers because of the face-covering helmets, cosplays in this gallery include drewthecostumer, ctcowboy71, Sith Lantern Cosplay, bedtimejules, GiveWave Studios, generalbenkenobi, one_nut_king, christopherlavallee, and many more.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
To view the entire gallery, just click on the image below. If you are pictured in any of our galleries, feel free to download the images and use them non-commercially on social media, with appropriate credit.
