MegaCon 2025 Friday Cosplay Gallery By Cantera Image
On Friday at MegaCon, Manny of Cantera Image took more photos than Thursday, as one would expect. Like many weekend conventions that run more than two days, Thursday started late (4 p.m.) and ran for only five hours versus the nine hours each of Friday and Saturday. Sunday split the difference, clocking in at seven hours.
Looking through the gallery, linked below, it is clear that MegaCon Orlando is a general pop culture nerd fandom convention. People are cosplaying from comic books and movies, but also anime and videogames. It may be just Manny’s choices of who or what to photograph, but the gallery is loaded with way more classic characters than new ones, with the exception of some like Momo and Okarun from DanDaDan — the featured image above. While all the cosplayers are doing excellent work, I was particularly impressed by the spot-on Nicepool from Deadpool & Wolverine, and the excellent version of Professor X from the Powers of X run of comics.
