MomoCon 2019 returned to the Georgia World Congress Center in downtown Atlanta over the Memorial Day Weekend. This was MomoCon’s fifth year at the GWCC in Hall A. With the same pattern every, this year was their biggest year with more than 39,000 attendees.

If you went last year and compared the exhibit halls, you could see right away how much more games, guests, and events they packed into the set space. The amount of gaming from free play to the arcade selection was doubled and the gaming hall was better organized as well as being opened around the clock. Despite being scheduled on the same weekend as other cons nearby in this region of the U.S., like Animazement and MegaCon, there was a large crowd of attendees throughout the weekend.

This was the fifteenth year as a con and MomoCon continues to show signs of strong growth and improvement in its con experience. It’s also the forth year in the partnership between MomoCon and its older Atlanta sibling, Dragon Con. If you were there, you could really tell the fullness of the con but no worries for the future. For MomoCon 2020, they will be moving to Georgia World Congress Center Hall B on the weekend of May 21st – 24th, Memorial Day Weekend. Hall B is almost twice as large as this years Hall A. Preregistration is available now, so get your tickets at their lowest price for next year of $50 for a four-day pass. You can also pay extra to have the badge shipped to your home before the con.
