Werewolf Hunter Red Riding Hood From Cape Cod Photoshoot Week
As Friday of our fourth annual Cape Cod Cosplay Photoshoot Week started edging toward evening, I did a shoot with Multitudes Cosplay as Rosamond Von Schwartzwald, the main character from the novel Blood Red by Mercedes Lackey. Multitudes said she designed the costume “based on a combination of fantasy fashion and 19th C. German huntwear.” The core of the story is that the person known as Red Riding Hood has grown up and become a hunter of all kinds of creatures of the night, including werewolves.
The shoot was done in an old cemetery maybe 500 yards from the Southfleet Motor Inn, late in the day with a light overcast sky. Out of respect, we made sure we stayed on the walkways between plots, and that no names are visible in the shoot. In fact, that rusted iron fence separating the plot behind Multitudes from our shoot was both a perfect marker for where not to go, and an ideal prop for the gothic look of the images.
That cemetery is also just about a quarter mile from where in the White Cedar Swamp I shot the Star Wars ladies set, with our host Kota (ldcos618 on Instagram) as Vice Admiral Holdo, Multitudes in her Evaan Verlaine cosplay and Not Quite Done Yet Cosplay as Mara Jade.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
To view the entire gallery, just click on the image below. If you are pictured in any of our galleries, feel free to download the images and use them non-commercially on social media, with appropriate credit.
