Netflix Hires ‘Jessica Jones’ For Second Job
In news that should surprise no one and please just about everybody, Netflix announced that it has ordered a second season of the big hit Marvel comic adaptation Jessica Jones.
According to EW.com, Netflix confirmed the renewal of the show at the Television Critics Association event last Sunday. Krysten Ritter returns as Jessica and Mike Colter will reprise his role as Luke Cage, even though he will have his own series. Melissa Rosenberg, the first season showrunner, also returns, so the quality should hold steady for the new 13 episode season.
There is no word on the plot or the villain in the new season. It will be tough to beat David Tenant as Kilgrave, the mind-controlling monster that was the first season’s bad guy.
