New Hampshire Ren Faire 2014 Photo Gallery!

Over the middle two weekends in May, the New Hampshire Renaissance Faire brought fans of all things medieval to the woods of Kingston, N.H.

Well, to be accurate, all kinds of historical periods were covered, from the High Middle ages of the War of the Roses period, exemplified by the armored combat demonstration group from Maine, the Neville Companye, to the 17th century Pirate Age, in the form of pirate groups like B.O.N.E.S. (Brethren Order of the North East Sea) and the New England Brethren of Pirates, whose own Capt. Jack Sparrow can be seen lounging about with gypsies in one of the photos.

There were even period-accurate vikings, one of whom, Jarl Ingvar Schildknacker, can be identified by the large round shield on his back in one of the photos. Jarl Ingvar is a member of the viking reenactors “DraugarVinlands” or Ghosts of Vinland.

Enjoy the photos in the gallery below, and plan to check out the faire in 2015. Also, stay tuned for a photo shoot set from the faire of the lovely model Scarlet Renarde — the corseted redhead being ogled by the muddy beggar in one of the pics below.
