NYCC 2018 FirstPerson Shooter Gallery, Thursday Part 1

Compared to last year, when it had no problem selling out tickets, Thursday of New York Comic Con 2018 was noticeably less busy. The convention was pushing Thursday ticket sales hard, right up until the last minute — at least based on the number of times I got an email reminding me that I hadn’t bought a Thursday ticket yet.

The crowds seemed to be roughly the same, however, as the North Pavilion is closed for expansion, compressing the attendees into a smaller space than previous years. And to be fair, I will have two galleries from Thursday of the cosplayers I got a chance to photograph, which is the same number I had last year. So even though ReedPop didn’t sell out tickets for Thursday, my guess is it wasn’t too far off from last year’s attendance.
