NYCC 2019 Friday Gallery By Adam Etheridge, Part 2
All of my photos in this second Friday set from New York Comic Con 2019 were taken just outside of the Jacob Javits Center. This area has become more and more popular among cosplayers over the years, and at times it seemed to be nearly as crowded as the show floor itself.
In this set you’ll find a nice variety of cosplay, with characters from Marvel, DC Comics, and several video game series including Borderlands, Mortal Kombat, and Overwatch.
The trio of Borderlands sirens was easily one of my favorite cosplay groups of the convention. Lilith, Maya, and Amara were all masterfully portrayed by these cosplayers, and being in the middle of a Borderlands 3 playthrough, this was a personal treat for me to see.
