ONE PIECE’s ROBIN NICO Cosplay by Rising Moon Cosplay!
Today, we are featuring the art of Rising Moon Cosplay on her interpretation of the character Robin Nico from the One Piece movie One Piece Film: Z. Photos featured here were taken at AnimeNext 2013.
When I asked Rising Moon Cosplay what she was the most happy about her look, she was proud of how much she was able to overcome her struggles with her weight. She says, “When I was in high school, I was over 200 lbs. It was getting out of hand, but in college, I noticed my health took a particular decline and it woke me up. Since then, I’ve been working hard at keeping my weight at a respectable level and finally started getting back to a healthy size. This is one of the first costumes since I started cosplaying 12 years ago that [I am able to] show off my mid-section, and I’m highly proud of my work. I did feature a “before and after” picture on my page with a bit more on the story.”
