PAX East 2019 Friday Gallery Part 1 by FirstPerson Shooter
Friday at PAX East 2019 was typically crowded and busy, and the percentage of cosplay seemed to jump significantly from Thursday. It was also a warm day for New England, at least in comparison to the most recent couple of PAX East events, which experienced temperatures in the teens and even snow. This year it was mostly sunny and in the upper 50s.
The day was also incredibly for all of us on the Nerd Caliber team, since our panel at PAX East this year started at 8 p.m. The Cosplay And Photography Shoot-out: Videogame Edition was much more successful than we ever anticipated, and we still can’t stop apologizing tot he amazing Enforcers that we kept in the Bobcat Theater more than hour over our allotted time, because we had at least double the amount of participants we expected. This year we have started a new way to present cosplay photo galleries. We have a Smugmug account and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to save money on hosting storage, and give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
