PAX East 2019 Friday Gallery Part 3 by FirstPerson Shooter
Large, complex cosplay takes some time to prep and get into, so it’s no surprise that it was mid-afternoon before some of the crazier armor builds showed up for photos on Friday at PAX East 2019. And while the show floor is so crowded it’s tough to walk around with demonic wings or giant armored hands, the lobby of the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center is huge and generally open enough to allow such large costumes to be worn without much difficulty.
One suggestion that PAX East management should consider is having a cosplay repair station. Friday I took photos of some cosplayers who came back some time later to ask about someplace to get tape or hot glue or needle and thread to fix a costume issue. Also, shout out to Mink the Satyr for the amazing waffle from the food truck Zinneken’s Waffle Truck. It had strawberries and bananas all over it so it was healthy, right?
