PAX East 2020 Sunday Gallery by FirstPerson Shooter

On Sunday of PAX East 2020 I saw smaller crowds, as is typical at any con, and that means fewer cosplayers as well. Which means just a single gallery from the day from me, although just under our threshold for dividing it up, so there are well over 100 images here.

In addition, Sunday is often the cosplayers’ “casual” day, when they ditch the sometimes cumbersome costumes for comfortable clothes. In some cases, such as Moonie Warrior Cosplay’s Cinderella from Ralph Wrecks The Internet, cosplayers can combine both comfort and accurate cosplay.

Overall, PAX East 2020 was a great time for me, but there is no question that the nascent coronavirus pandemic had an effect on the attendance numbers. Of course, as we noted in this article, the not-quite-yet pandemic caused a few exhibitors and guests to back out at the last minute, which was a secondary level of coronavirus effect on attendance.

Still, the reduction in attendance seemed to me to be minor, maybe 10 percent or so fewer people than PAX East 2019. To be clear, I don’t have attendance figures from either year, so this is all speculation.

Cosplayers in this last gallery from PAX East 2020 by me include rosiegarcia.model, notgodzilla, dressingwithclassblog, Humongous Fungus Of Urungus, Mink the Satyr Cosplay, thelanyardkings, MicroKitty, buri_obscure_cosplay, makeupmermaidcosplay, nerdwiththehat, Moonie Warrior Cosplay, Carley Winn Cosplay, When Fandom Strikes, lzj4cos, Petry Cosplays, stephabrew, thatgreygentleman, spectravita, Christina Costello, flowerbricosplay, Super Savage, Daziraptor – Model & Makeup Artist, nataliefuinha, lostboyofpan, postpunkybrewster, Ayame-chan Cosplay, and many more.

We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
