Resident Evil Cosplay Over The Years on The RE3 Remake Release
Last week, on April 3, Capcom released the long awaited game Resident Evil 3, a remake of the 1999 game Resident Evil 3: Nemesis. Like the original, the remake follows Jill Valentine and Carlos Oliviera as they try to survive in zombie-filled Raccoon City while being hunted by the terrifying bio-engineered monster Nemesis.
Because I didn’t photograph enough cosplayers portraying characters from just Resident Evil 3 to fill out a full gallery, I included all characters from the franchise — Leon Kennedy, Ada Wong, Albert Wesker, Claire Redfield and lots of Umbrella Corp. soldiers. But I have to give a special nod to our own Nerd Caliber team member, Associate Producer Luis, aka Crash: The Photos, who is the first and one of the only Nemesis cosplayers I have ever photographed. The solo photo of the Nemesis cosplayer in this gallery is from 10 years ago, at Anime Boston 2010.
