RICC 2014 Cosplay Gallery, Saturday – Part 1!

At Rhode Island Comic Con I was allowed to once again set up a portable studio to shoot photos of the cosplayers being judged for the Cosplay Contest, and any others I could grab and haul in to the room. As was the case the last time I did this, at Granite State Comic Con in Manchester, NH, in September, big thanks to Pat Covey of C2 ECO: Covey’s Cosplay Event and Contest Organization, who ran the contests and after events for both conventions — with great aplomb, I might add.

With a larger cap on the number of entrants for RICC than usual, and the addition of some non-competing cosplayers, I was able to grab nearly 200 images total, so I will break the Saturday gallery into two, with the first half today and the second half going up tomorrow. Big props to the judges, Destiny Nickelsen, BelleChere, Jonny Ruckus Cosplay and Abby of Human Sushi Cosplay, and to the photographers who shared the room with me —  Benn Robbins of Robbins Studios and Manny Rude of Cantera Cosplay.
