The Armorer From The Mandalorian At CCCP Weekend 2024
It’s a stressful day here in the US of A, so to distract you for a bit from all that, have a gander at this amazing cosplay by ldcos618 of the Armorer from the series The Mandalorian, shot at a gorgeous location on Cape Cod.
This was the last shoot I did during our Cape Cod Cosplay Photoshoot Weekend a bit more than a week ago. Mid-afternoon on Sunday Kota, Kevin of kbrophystudio and I went to Indian Neck Beach, just about a five-minute drive from the Southfleet Motor Inn, the home base for our CCCP weekend events for years now. Earlier in the day we had gone there to see how difficult it might be to access that end of the beach. Turns out it was super easy, barely an inconvenience.
I say the other end of the beach, because I have done many shoots at the end where the beach stops at a breakwater, including this set of Jason of Chocolate Ninja Cosplay as Kwame from Captain Planet. In the background of those photos, you can see Wellfleet harbor across the bay, and the huge commercial pier. At the other end there is nothing but bluffs and riprap stone embankments, making a good enough facsimile of the cove the Armorer and her cult was hiding in in Season 3 of The Mandalorian.
