Updated Deadpool And Wolverine Cosplay Galleries
The only Marvel Studios movie to be released in 2024, Deadpool & Wolverine, opened last night and based on the posts on my various social media platforms, tons of people went to see it and seemingly all loved it. Since our review from Kat Chinetti (who also loved it) went up earlier this week, I figured I’d do an update to the cosplay retrospective galleries of each character I posted during the pandemic shutdown of conventions (and, you know, everything). To my surprise, I had only done one gallery of each, both within a few weeks of each other in mid-2020.
With conventions back in full swing, it seemed like there might be a bunch more photos to add to each gallery since then, and I was right to assume so — 12 new Wolverine pics since 2020 and 18 new pics of the Merc with the Mouth.
Since the original posts are more than three years old, many of the social media tags are no longer in use or the cosplayer is no longer doing cosplay. That means the number of people tagged in this post will be smaller than the original posts. That said, cosplayers in these two galleries include the__devil__you__know, cubseidl, clillithcosplay, BNH Photography, Zombie Leader, ctcowboy71, sweetangelgurl33cosplay, everyoneshero1, sarahspectre, quinnjob, chantelantoinette, spectra_v3, robin_winter26, rangerpoolcosplay, kaewhatever, and many more.
Note that the Featured Image on the posts is a composite. While both the Wolverine cosplayer and the Deadpool cosplayer were photographed on Sunday at the most recent Fan Expo Boston, they were not at my studio space at the same time — Wolverine in the morning and Deadpool in the afternoon.
We now use Smugmug to present cosplay photo galleries and will post all photos there, with a link to each gallery in its own gallery article. This will allow us to give you higher resolution images to download — still for free.
To view the entire gallery, just click on the image below. If you are pictured in any of our galleries, feel free to download the images and use them non-commercially on social media, with appropriate credit.
If you like our work and want to show your appreciation, feel free to tip us at Ko-fi or become a patron on Patreon.
Also, High-res images for sale is back!
If you are pictured in any of our galleries and want the high-resolution (3200 pixels at its widest by 300dpi) download for yourself, we can make it available via a private Smugmug link, for $10 per image. Just send an email to editor AT nerdcaliber.com. Currently limited to only photos taken by FirstPerson Shooter (aka Rodney Brown).
