Website About Cosplay Scandals Nothing to Fool With
(Confirmed! It was Missyeru behind this, and she says her friend built the site for her – Ed.)
It seems she has done it again. Suddenly early afternoon Eastern time, cosplayers around the country started posting on Facebook about how nude or revealing photos of them were somehow appearing on a website called CosplayScandals.
Visitors to the site (and I am sure there were hundreds of thousands if not millions) were treated to a site that had pixelated images of cosplayers in various states if undress. While I have no confirmation that this wonderful April Fool’s Day prank was perpetrated by Missyeru, it would make sense, she she was behind last year’s similarly timed and coordinated announcement by a slew of Misty cosplayers about them being on panels at a fictitious convention in the Pokemon game locale Cerulean City — a story we broke here on Nerd Caliber.
Lending credence to the theory that Missyeru is behind this is the fact that her last two April Fool’s Day pranks are on the page as previous articles. Once I get confirmation (or denial) I will update the article, but in the meantime I suggest you go check out the images and get a good laugh. I LOLd at the image here of Bellechere in which all of her skin except her Red Sonja outfit is pixelated.
