Wicked Comic Con 2025 Cosplay Gallery 3
As the afternoon at Wicked Comic Con wound down toward the 5 p.m. closing, the crowds started thinning out, as usually happens. But not by a lot — there was still plenty of people milling about. Those smaller crowds meant less constant work for me, so I had the opportunity to offer some of my booth space for sit-and-chill sessions with con friends I haven’t seen in quite a while.
This gallery has a great assortment of photos of people enjoying cosplay — parents and kids having a blast cosplaying together, cosplayers in costumes I’ve photographed many times, and new to me cosplayers in amazing new costumes (check out that Taskmaster). Also new to me is maybe the first Tatsumaki cosplay I’ve ever photographed. I included one image of her when the main flash failed to go off, because the lighting looks so dramatic. By the way, she is wearing pants under the dress, if anyone is unsure of that fact.
As I mentioned in the first gallery post, Wicked Comic Con will return for another free one-day convention this year, on Oct. 5. Since the website had been updated with that new date information, it seems clear that running a free-attendance convention worked for them. Let’s hope they can keep offering such a deal to local nerds.
